I'm Yang.
Nice to meet you.

Over a decade across frontend, mobile, and game development — I've built everything from real-time interactive experiences to production AI systems. My background spans the full spectrum of how software meets people.

These days I focus on human-computer interaction: running experiments that study how people actually respond to intelligent interfaces, then using those insights to build things that feel natural rather than engineered.

What I do.

◈

HCI & AI

Designing and running interaction experiments to understand how people respond to intelligent interfaces — then building systems that feel intuitive at every touchpoint.

◇

Frontend & Mobile

A decade of shipping across web, iOS, and Android. Fluent in the craft of UI — performance, accessibility, and the fine line between polish and over-engineering.

○

Game Development

Games demand the tightest feedback loops in software. That discipline — real-time systems, player psychology, feel — shapes how I approach every interactive product.

01

Understand

Start with the problem, not the solution.

—
02

Design

Shape systems around human behavior.

—
03

Build

Ship things that work, then make them better.

—
04

Learn

Iterate based on what reality teaches.

Things I love.

Artificial Intelligence

Not just as a job — as a lens. AI is reshaping how we think about intelligence, creativity, and what it means to build. I find that endlessly fascinating.

Film Photography

In a world of infinite digital frames, there's something clarifying about 36 exposures. Shooting film forces intentionality — a quality I try to bring to everything I do.

Piano

Music is the original algorithm — patterns, structure, and emotion in perfect tension. Playing piano is how I think when words aren't enough.

"When everything looks the same,
being different is the whole point."
